RNTI

Enter a value, in decimal for the Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RNTI). RNTI value and range depends on the RNTI Type.

Couplings

This setting is visible when the DCI Usage is set to Scheduling NPUSCH, Scheduling NPUSCH during Random Access Procedure, or Random Access Procedure initiated by NPDCCH order; otherwise, it is read-only.

When the RNTI Type (in DL-SCH) is C-RNTI or RA-RNTI, the RNTI (in DCI) is read-only, and its value changes automatically if the RNTI value in DL-SCH is modified.

When the RNTI Type (in DL-SCH) is P-RNTI, the RNTI (in DCI) is read-only and fixed at 65534.

When the RNTI Type (in DL-SCH) is SI-RNTI, the RNTI (in DCI) is not read-only but is fixed at 65535.

  • When DCI usage is Scheduling NPUSCH/Scheduling NPDSCH/ Random Access Procedure Initiated by NPDCCH Order then NDPCCH search space value is UE specific.

  • When DCI usage is Scheduling NPUSCH during Random Access Procedure/ Scheduling NPDSCH during Random Access Procedure then NDPCCH search space value is Type2 Common.

  • When RNTI type is CRNTI/SIRNTI then NDPCCH search space value is UE specific.

  • When RNTI type is RANTI then NDPCCH search space value is Type2 Common.

  • When RNTI type is PRNTI then NDPCCH search space value is Type1 Common.
